Trial Flight

If you are considering seeing what it would be like to fly a plane then the best thing to do is to pop in to see us to book a trial flight.

A trial flight is a surprisingly affordable birthday or Christmas present.

A trial flight is a real flying lesson and, whereas there is no obligation to continue, it is a common first step in learning to fly. The basic principles of flight are explained to you by your qualified and experienced flight instructor. Supervised by the instructor you perform the aircraft pre-flight checks. Then you go flying. You will be at the controls and, under the careful supervision of the instructor, you fly the aircraft throughout most of the lesson.

You can fill the other seats in the plane with family or friends at no extra charge!

Should two or three of you wish to do trial flights then each of you can sit in on the others' trial flights. If a friend just wants to be a passenger that's OK too.

A trial flight counts towards the requirements for obtaining a private pilot's license.
